We collect information for the following reasons: When you apply to rent a property, purchase a property or indeed own a property in an OMC.  When making enquiries through Daft.ie you will be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address or phone number. What do we use your information for? Personal data we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: To maintain a register of Members and Directors in OMCs. To note your interest following an enquiry about a letting/sale. To place you on a waiting list Your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs To generate tenancy agreements To register tenancies with the appropriate bodies (RTB), Utility companies (Electricity & Water but not limited to), to reply to queries from government bodies (Social Welfare, Local Council, Rent Allowance Office but not limited to). To administer your tenancy for the duration of your contract. Your phone number and name will be provided to maintenance staff to facilitate repairs/upgrades or tenant requests. To send periodic emails The email address you provide on your application form/owner registration form, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your tenancy e.g. to communicate rent reminders, property inspection dates, parcel delivery notification, estate maintenance, refuse violations, refuse collection dates etc. in addition to receiving occasional company news, updates, related to your property or service information, etc. How do we protect your information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server and personal data is only accessible by those authorised to log into our systems. All login details are confidential. We do not store bank details (IBAN) on our servers. Your IBAN is utilised on one occasion to facilitate the return of your deposit/overpaid rent etc. Once you are set up as a beneficiary on our online banking interface all hardcopies of your bank details are destroyed. Do we use cookies?
